Adult females are significantly larger than males, often reaching lengths of 5 to 9 meters (17 to 30 feet). They have olive-green skin with black oval spots on their backs .

Tintoba is the largest known snake ever lived in this World. it,s size are estimated to have reached lengths of 12.8 to 14.3 meters. It weighed approximately 1,135 kg. It likely resembled a massive version of modern-day anacondas. First fossil were discovered in the Cerrejón coal mines in La Guajira, Colombia. It was capable of crushing and eating large crocodiles and turtles. Its massive muscular body to suffocate prey with force equivalent to 400 lbs per square inch.
The first fossils were identified in 2004 and the species was officially named and described in 2009. snake’s body was nearly 1 meter (3 feet) wide, comparable to the height of a human waist.
